Description
H&K SP5K-PDW 9MM HK Heckler & Koch 5.83″ barrel
The SP5K-PDW is the semi-automatic civilian iteration of the renowned HK MP5K, the ultimate close-quarters weapon. The “K” designation signifies its shorter barrel and receiver, derived from the German word “kurz,” meaning short.
Irrespective of size, all SP5 and MP5 models share the esteemed HK roller-delayed blowback operating system, celebrated for its precision, reliability, and smooth shooting. Originating from the perfected design of the Heckler & Koch G3 rifle, this system continues to be deployed in various HK firearms worldwide.
Crafted to meet the criteria of a civilian pistol, the SP5K-PDW boasts authentic features such as a 4.5″ barrel with a Navy-style threaded tri-lug adaptor, paddle magazine release, and a fluted chamber.
Manufactured in Heckler & Koch’s Oberndorf, Germany, factory, the SP5K-PDW preserves key elements of the MP5 and MP5K, including precision-machined components and meticulous attention to detail. This commitment to quality stems from producing civilian SP5 variants in the same factory, on the same production lines, and by the same skilled workforce responsible for years of MP5 production.
